قَالُوا يَامُوسَى إِنَّا لَنْ نَدْخُلَهَا أَبَدًا مَا دَامُوا فِيهَا فَاذْهَبْ أَنْتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلَا إِنَّا هَاهُنَا قَاعِدُونَ

[But] they said: "O Moses! Behold, never shall we enter that [land] so long as those others are in it. Go forth, then, thou and thy Sustainer, and fight, both of you! We, behold, shall remain here!"

They said, 'Moses, we will never enter it so long as they are in it. Go forth, thou and thy Lord, and do battle; we will be sitting here.

قَالُوا۟ یَـٰمُوسَىٰۤ إِنَّا لَن نَّدۡخُلَهَاۤ أَبَدࣰا مَّا دَامُوا۟ فِیهَا فَٱذۡهَبۡ أَنتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَـٰتِلَاۤ إِنَّا هَـٰهُنَا قَـٰعِدُونَ ۝٢٤

qālū yāmūsā innā lan nadkhulahā abadan mā dāmū fīhā fa-idh'hab anta warabbuka faqātilā innā hāhunā qāʿidūn
